Vík í Mýrdal Iceland

Black sand beach Vik was one of my favorite places the landscape was one of those breathless moments. The beach is covered with black sand and with high rock walls that cover the beach, out in the ocean there are large rocks that stand hundreds of feet high with amazing designs to them. It is located on the main ring road around the island, around 180 km (110 mi) by road southeast of Reykjavik.
